Donna Eaton

Donna Eaton is a professional photographer and North Carolina native now living on 6 acres in the Upstate of South Carolina. She spent eleven years as the staff photographer for a raptor rehabilitation and education center located in North Carolina before venturing out on her own as a professional photographer. Her passion is seeing with her heart through her camera and sharing it with others. Her hope is that her photography will touch people and help spread the message of conservation. Recently Donna was awarded an honorable mention in the National Wildlife Refuge Association’s annual photography competition and had an image chosen to be part of the “Be Seen in DC exhibit at the Washington School of Photography gallery in Rockville, MD” sponsored by Lensbaby. She is a regular contributor to Our State Magazine which features North Carolina travel, history, folklore and beautiful scenic photography. Her images are frequently used on the website of The Friends of the Great Smoky Mountains. You can find Donna’s photos gracing the pages of magazines, textbooks, billboards, brochures, websites and private collections. Publishing credits include the National Wildlife Federation, North Carolina Wildlife, American Greetings, USAirways, Expressions Magazine, Trip Magazine, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, & Popular Photography.

Donna conducts workshops, teaches photography and is a featured speaker. Donna has been a leader for NANPA Regional Events and she is an instructor at John C. Campbell Folk School and The Perfect Picture School of Photography (www.ppsop.com). Her work is represented by Fogstock and Getty Images. Memberships include North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association (CNPA), Professional Photographers of America (PPA) & Photographic Society of America (PSA).
